#18 Damian Wayne’s Robin My favorite of the Robin costumes. This one is practical (minus the cape?), effective, visually pleasing, and all around badass. I also think it fits Damian’s personality very well. I’m not sure if he was ever shown expressing his opinion on the costume in contrast to Dick and Jason’s costumes, but I’m sure he’d prefer his.

[Spoilers] for Batwoman #1 and Batman and Robin #1

  • See how easy it is to not spoil people?
  • But yea, I didn’t think I’d like Bruce and Damian’s dynamic, but I love how Damian is shutting Bruce the hell up. The “And you were easier to look up to when you weren’t around,” line killed me.
  • Don’t get me wrong, I do miss Dick/Damian to death.
  • Batwoman was perfect. I think Williams and Blackman are doing a good job setting this up for a lot of issues down the line. This is the kind of writing I thought they were talking about with the ENTIRE DCnU. And this was probably finished months and months ago.
  • That scene with Renee’s photo on the wall. Perfect.
  • I like the issues she has with her father as well. From a story perspective, that is.
